Useful Guidelines

Make sure the person in charge of the funeral has his I.D Card with him all time.
Be at the Hospital/ Clinic in less than 1 hour to avoid the body being placed in Mortuary Freezer.
Only Original I.D Card of the deceased person is needed as document.
Make sure to ask the doctor to insert "Early Burial" on the Certificate of the cause of death.
In case of any suspected death, please report to your local police station or call on the Police Hotline: 148.
Once the body has been picked up, relatives can go the Civil Status Office to declare the death.
Bring along the original certificate of the cause of death and the deceased I.D Card.
A Burial Permit will be issued for cemetery record and a death certificate for relatives record.
Contact Cemetery for grave reservation.
Go to nearest police station along with all documents for announcement on Radios.
